We have officially breathed life into UQ4Life!
The first meeting was held in SAS Hall on September 6, 2024 and attended by approximately 30 students and faculty. It was great to see diversity both vertically (undergraduate through faculty) and horizontally (biomathematics through applied statistics). In the meeting, we decided to spend the fall reading papers and initiating projects related to equation learning, and focus the Distinguished Seminar Series on the theme of surrogate modeling.
